After 14 years why does it still hurt?

ok so the ex left me poor and destitute, after 24 years, for another woman, now he lives in a big fancy home. im on disability. the thing that bothers me is my children the ones i raised alone have my grandchildren hanging out with his new kid-why does that upset me?
