Im disabled, but my partner will not support me at all.?
I became disabled/housebound a year ago & I had to give up work as i can no longer walk. Since then my partner of 12 yrs has not helped me with hardly any care at all. Now my Disability allowance has also been stopped, so i now get no money at all, thanks to a bad ATOS medical assesment. My partner will buy me a little food, and on rare occasions cook me something. He used to give me a little money...but now he says he cannot afford to. Although since taking away from me what he used to give me, he spends on himself now. I cannot wash or dress myself..no help either with that. He is now getting abusive, and I'm not allowed to let my family in the house( Its his house, and he cant abide the noise my 2 yr old granddaughter makes). I now have nothing to live on..and no help. Am i wrong to ask him for just a little money, although i hate to do it. i would go to work if i could. But its impossible with my illness. My doctor has signed me off permanently disabled, and unfit to work indefinitely. His argument is..is that i smoke..and he will not pay for my smoking. Ok, he doesn't like it. But i now have nothing to keep me from going insane..and also I'm in severe chronic pain 24/7. All i have is 4 walls to look at all day. I cant even switch on the TV..as i cannot see the buttons on the remote control..or he puts them where i cant reach them. Yes, i need money to smoke..i don't deny it...one of the very few pleasures i had..that and a online game i used to enjoy..and now i cant because i have no income. Is it wrong to ask? He has got thousands in the bank..and I'm penniless & destitute! Also, is it wrong to ask my partner to help me with washing and dressing...i feel like a tramp! My daughter in law used to help me when she could (difficult with a 2 yr old in tow)..but as shes no longer welcome in HIS house...i don't get no help at all. Please help..because i really am desperate.
