Your Father gave one of the Kingdom's 'less fortunate subjects' 20 'sovs' in 1960! What a story!! My Late Parents worked in a factory back in 1960 - my Father as a full-timer on �11. 10 & 7 1/2d; my Mother on �6. 7 & tuppence (part-time.) Not until the Late Sixties, did a 'score' become a little more 'visible' (weekly wages 'wise.) So. Don't tell 'porkies.' The only "****seni" I ever extended 'kindness' towards, was......Kyria Polykseni of Droomba (the good lady was also an Olympiakos supporter) who, ended up with a grin from ear-to-ear!!! As for the gentleman (or lady) who parted with a bottle of Scotch (to a wino) as well as, garboozi-flavoured pasta (come on mate, have a heart - only a bit of 'light relief') what can one say, other than to, commend their......philanthropic qualities, as well as their kind 'contribution towards the currently-improving lifestyle of.....Scottish Distillers!!!! N.B. Oy. Nurse Ratchet! "Who's making love to your" (nearly; too bad you are a 'car crash') "old lady" whilst you are being busy..... boring Australia (& ors.)
