Turntable/dj question please help!! i really need an answer!?

hey im a begginer and recently bought 2 numark tt200 turntables. all i wanna do is strictly mix with very little scratching. i heard on these turntables the motor can lose its umph, and you would have to let it cool down after 30 min . my question is if i turn tthe motor off and cue without the motor on (manually spin it) will that effect the motor? will it lose its torque from doing that? same goes with scratching?
