Why do Americans stand idly by when a fellow citizen looses his home and life savings to medical bills and?

We know that the health care system needs an overhaul, just not a government take over like you want. Medical bills wouldn't be so expensive if libtards would listen to us conservatives and use TORT reform, eliminate frivolous lawsuits and allow insurance companies to compete across state lines. It's liberal arrogance that prevents all this.
