Do i owe abuser a phone call at delivery....?

Think of your baby. Is he the kind of father you want to influence and help raise your child? I was abused growing up and the best part of my childhood was in foster care. My suggestion is to let him know that you are having the baby, let him be there if he wants and if you want, then send him pictures and give him updates. I would not suggest letting him teach your baby that it is ok to be abusive, or give him the possibility of abusing your baby. As my grandma always tells me "a woman can find a way to do anything."
