NBC - was their editing out the words "under God" intentional?

Intentional, the apology was not genuine, they were just trying to save their ratings. I love these people that say "IT was just added in the 50's" and that may be, but it WAS ADDED therefore it is part of it now. You know, this country was just added in 1776 I guess we can just disband it today.
