Is it wrong to be angry that my sibling keeps asking for expensive Christmas gifts?

Every year lately, my sib keeps asking for expensive Christmas gifts. Though I'm not destitute or cheap, it seems to me that Christmas is not just a time to hang the responsibility of buying things that you are too cheap to buy for yourself onto others. Personally, I feel guilty when I ask for anything over $20- 30 but my sib keeps asking for stuff like an iPod or a $100ish coffee maker. Every year for the last few I've been feeling like I spent my Christmas getting mugged. So, am I being reasonable in my irritation, or am I just being an cheap jerk?
