Hair - Half "Up Do" Question - Plz answer - 10 for best, easy!!?
alright. you have A LOT of different options for making her hair amazing and beautiful :) i don't know how long her hair is, but you said it was really thick. the size of the curling iron depends on her hair length. if it below the shoulders a few inches i would stay with a 1 inch curling iron. if it is really long i'd go to a 1.25 inch curling iron. but it really it doesn't matter. it just depends on how curly she wants it to be. does she want it ringlety or like taylor swift style. if she wants more of the wavy taylor swift style, wrap the hair around the iron (over the clamp) and then hold the ends so it sits on the curling iron without sliding. hold for about 10 seconds. go to this video for a tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGBzNUdwWr4 if she wants really big waves do the same thing except with a bigger section of hair. i think you can work her natural curls into the look as well. some mouse and hairspray will do the trick. to get your curls to hold, there a few different ways to do this. one way is to put mouse in all of hair, but dont super coat it so its greasy. just enough to cover all the hair nicely. do that before you start curling, and try to let it dry a bit before starting. you can also spray it while its on the curling iron, even though that's really damaging to hair. as long as you're not doing that everyday it would probably be fine. another tip is to lightly twist the hair in the direction it goes right after curling it, and then let it cool without you touching it. when finished, hairspray the hold head and 'scrunch' it. this also makes the curls last longer. if you have any more questions let me know! hope this helped some!
